"I don't care" the DIY Motorhome travels

We wish - not just yet - Christmas 2009 is the dead-line

This should prove to be an interesting section with regular automatic GPS updates as we travel, plus some exciting live web-cam images of what we see through the windscreen while travelling!

UPDATE:

The build is progressing very well, with only the bathroom and a few wardrobes to complete. We may be lucky enough to take "Matilda" for her "sea trials" in early October now. Work has began on the engine and mechanicals with a view to rego.

UPDATE 26-09-2009:

The "sea trials" went well. Took her for a run on a permit down Beaudesert way and everything went well! Items left loose on the table and benchtops never moved a millimetre, amazing for a rough bouncy road. Pretty sure the speedometer reads slow as sitting on 85kph means leaving the traffic behind for dead :), and grunt!!! It just steams up the hills!

All done and on the road. A quick trip to our new bush refuge.
